They signalled to their partners

27 May 2024

“The most precious gift we can give to others is our presence. When our full attention embraces those we love, they bloom like flowers” (T. Nhat Hanh).

On May 25, Mariola L.V., Religious of the Sacred Heart, Doctor of Spiritual Theology, led the Claretian Missionary Sisters and those of us who walk together in the prayerful reading of the biblical verse: “They signalled to their partners” (Lk 5:7) in the framework of the second year of the Congregational Path: “Let us cast our nets into the deep”.

A new invitation to welcome the fruits of the XVIII General Chapter, to meet as a family in the Lord, religious and laity, on the shore of life and to let the gestures and the word of Jesus restart us, to inspire us in our way of walking the path.

A space and a time of prayer where the grace of welcoming the “fish” of my sisters, and my mission companions, in their differences and being able to put mine without shrinking and with gratitude, has accompanied us.

A special thanks to Mariola for becoming a companion on the journey of the Claretian missionaries and of those of us who walk together.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
