‘Interculturality’ in the Claretian Family

29 May 2024

For five years the Claretian Missionaries have been offering formation on the theme of Interculturality, which is a challenge for the whole Church. In the perspective of continuing to promote initiatives in the Claretian Family, this year’s edition has been open to the Claretian Missionaries. Bertha V. rmi, member of the General Spirituality Team, is an integral part of the team of tutors and accompanies a group of participants. In addition, two sisters from the province of Europe are participating in it. The course, which started on 22 April 2024, consists of 8 modules, one per week, is being held in three languages (English, French and Spanish) and offers thematic material on different facets of interculturality and Icons to contemplate, from a biblical text and an important personage or a significant event of the Congregation. This formation is coordinated by Fr. José Enrique García cmf, delegate of the General Prefect of Spirituality and Community Life, Fr Carlos Sánchez Miranda cmf.

For the Claretian Missionary Sisters, it is a great opportunity to continue weaving family ties and to continue caring for interculturality in our apostolic realities.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
