With grateful hearts…

24 January 2025

On January 21st, the junior sisters, accompanied by Priscilla, Superior General, Amilbia, General Prefect of Formation and Thushari, travelled to Reus, Spain, to begin the formation programme in preparation for Perpetual Profession.  It was a long-awaited day for them, as it was their first time to come to the place of the Mother Foundress, where she lived her last years, where her remains lie and where the museum is located.

The sisters of the community welcomed us warmly and with these gestures of welcome helped us to find our place and to feel part of the community.

With the theme ‘Walking together we follow in the footsteps of Christ our only good with Paris and Claret’, accompanied by the icon of the Samaritan woman who asked Jesus for living water, the formation program began.  Five sisters from Africa are also joining and participating online while still waiting for their visa.

We closed the day with the thanksgiving Eucharist for this opportunity to meet and deepen together the roots of our charism and thus began the formation program.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
