Teresita Albarracín, A Pilgrimage of Hope and Trust in God
11 March 2025On March 12th, we joyfully celebrate the memory of Teresita Albarracín, patroness and model for the junior sisters of the Congregation. Her life was a luminous testimony of hope, total surrender into the hands of God, and unshakable trust in His merciful love.
Following her example, we are invited to live our vocation with the same dedication, letting ourselves be guided by faith and love. As Pope Francis reminds us, our journey is not just a simple trip, but a pilgrimage toward God. Teresita understood this deeply and lived with persevering joy, even in the midst of difficulties. She teaches us to find meaning in every experience and to face challenges with the certainty that the Lord will never abandon us.
On this special day, let us be inspired by Teresita’s words: “I will live today so abandoned and trusting in the arms of God that I will not worry about anything or concern myself about anything, waiting for everything of his divine mercy”.
May Teresita’s life continue to inspire us to walk with joy, hope, and trust in the hands of the Lord.
Happy Junior Sisters’ Day!
