The fifth day of the encounter…

On the 26th we began our day with the liturgy prepared by the Mission Province of Africa, with its songs and dances animating this Saturday of the Octave of Easter. In our prayers, as in all these days, gratitude for the evangelical life of Pope Francis was present.

We joined the Universal Church at the funeral of Pope Francis and began the working session by listening to his message of blessing to the Claretian Missionaries, given at the first session of the XVI Synodal Assembly in October 2023. An endearing moment.

On this day we were accompanied by Amparo Grau, Executive Secretary of the NGO Korima, who travelled from Carcaixent to be with us and enlighten us about the “Area of Solidarity for the Mission”, showing the reality that the NGO KORIMA has been found in the presentation of the solidarity projects that it receives from the different Entities of the Congregation. She presented the “Tree of problems and solutions”. In a group dynamic of the governments, points of criticality and possible solutions were analyzed, based on the reality of each Entity. We ended the morning by highlighting that there is a protocol for the presentation of projects that it is necessary to know and put into practice. It is also requested to clarify what is the channel that a project must follow for its presentation.

At 4:00 p.m. we resume work, this time it will be by service groups in the different Prefectures. Each group has worked according to the instructions received from the corresponding General Prefects.

We meet at 8:00 p.m. for dinner, and then we all participate in a prayer led by M. Victoria Hernández through contemplative dance, to whom we thank to end the day praising God with music and dance.
