Pilgrimage in the Footsteps of Father Claret
30 April 2025On 27 April, we went on a pilgrimage to Vic, a charismatic place. It was a deeply moving experience. On arriving in Vic, we visited the crypt and had a time of prayer, then we went to the museum accompanied by Fr. Rovira who helped us to approach the various stages of Father Claret’s life, to deepen our understanding of his missionary life dedicated to the service of the Gospel.
We visited several temples that were vocationally significant in Father Claret’s life because they were places where he clarified his vocation, discerned, made decisions, and sought accompaniment. These are St. Dominic’s, St. Just, St. Philip Neri, and the Cathedral where Father Claret was consecrated Bishop.
At the end of the day, our hearts were filled with a rekindled missionary ardour and a yearning to respond generously to the Lord’s call.
