A fraternal Encounter in the Spirit…

22 October 2024

On the 21st of October, the General Council of the Claretian Missionaries and General Team of Claretian Missionary Sisters had the meeting in the General Curia of the Claretians at Parioli.

The initial moment of prayer was animated with the theme “Claret urges us to live like Jesus” in the light of the Gospel reading from Luke, ‘the Spirit of the Lord is upon me to bring the Good News to the poor…’

It was an enriching moment of sharing about the visits that made, activities, concerns, desires, dreams and above all the gift of Claretian vocation at the service of the mission.

The family and familiar atmosphere made the encounter more meaningful and the sharing of experience of the Synodal journey inspired to walk together in dialogue, attentive listening and open to the creativity of the Spirit.

At the end we all took part in the Triduum of Father Claret together with the community, followed by fraternal agape. We thank God for the fraternity and communion.

On this occasion, the General Team of the Claretian Missionary Sisters, on behalf of the Congregation, presented a plaque to the Claretian Missionaries as a congratulatory gift for the 175th anniversary of the foundation.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
