Bringing Hope, “Laudato Si’ Week”

From May 24 to 31, we celebrate “Laudato Si’ Week” under the theme Bringing Hope. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of Pope Francis’ Encyclical Letter, we are invited to pray, celebrate, and look together toward a brighter and more hopeful future.

May this week be a time to give thanks to the Creator for “our common home” and help us become more aware of our responsibility to care for and protect all creatures.

God of love, show us our place in this world as channels of your love for all the creatures of this earth, for not one of them is forgotten in your sight. Enlighten those who possess power and money that they may avoid the sin of indifference, that they may love the common good, advance the weak, and care for this world in which we live. The poor and the earth are crying out…”
