Canonical and Financial Visitation to the María Inmaculada Community in Córdoba: The Prayerful Heart of the Mission

18 June 2026

From June 8 to 14, Priscilla and Lidia carried out the canonical and financial visitation to the María Inmaculada Community in Córdoba, Argentina.

This community is made up mostly of sisters who have lived a long missionary life. It is marked by a profound spirit of prayer, expressed through constant intercession for the sisters, the Church, and all those who request prayers.

A significant group of people participates daily in the Eucharist celebrated in our chapel. Their strong sense of belonging is clearly evident, as is the way they find in the community a place that encourages them to renew and strengthen their faith. The community is characterized by an atmosphere of simple and heartfelt hospitality, where all who arrive feel welcomed, valued, and loved.

During the visit, there was an opportunity to meet with the Cardinal of Córdoba, Archbishop Ángel Sixto Rossi, with whom they shared fraternal reflections on the challenges facing the Church and consecrated life in the Archdiocese. Particular attention is currently being given to the proclamation of the Word of God and youth ministry. The Cardinal encouraged us to continue strengthening our presence in the diocese and our educational mission at Padre Claret School.

They also visited the mothers and fathers of some of the sisters, a precious opportunity to share the closeness and affection of family life.

Especially meaningful was the celebration of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, lived together as the Claretian Family at Villa Claret House. At the conclusion of the Eucharistic celebration, we shared a fraternal lunch that strengthened our family bonds and renewed the joy of continuing to walk together in service to the Church’s mission.

The next destination for Priscilla and Lidia… Mendoza!

We joyfully celebrate the Jubilee Year of the Venerable Servant of God María Teresita Albarracín, rediscovering each month her life, her message, and her joy.
