Canonical and fraternal visit of formation to the novitiate house of the Mission Province of Africa in Nigeria

In the context of the Jubilee Year ‘Pilgrims of Hope’, inspired by the 18th General Chapter on the care of vocations, fraternity and our common home, and the process of generating missionary transformation in the Church and in the world, which we religious and lay people are carrying out, we joyfully share that Priscilla and Amilbia are making a canonical and fraternal visit to the novitiate of the Mission Province of Africa.

This visit represents the fundamental choice to invest our best energies in order to generate integral formation, seeking together the steps to follow in the reorganisation of the initial stages. It is considered important to continue to learn about the current reality of formation, especially in the novitiate stage, in order to continue to discern how to put into action a formation that gives life to leaders of transformation.

We continue to accompany this visit with our prayers so that it may be a time of God’s presence and attentive listening to the Spirit, and that personal and community encounters may help to shed light on the best way to form today’s young women for the world, the Church and the Congregation.
