Epiphany: The Light That Continues to Guide Our Path
5 January 2026The Epiphany of the Lord invites us to contemplate the mystery of a God who reveals himself to all humanity. In the visit of the Magi, guided by a star, we recognize a world, in thirst for truth and hope, willing to follow the true Light, who is Christ, even when the path is uncertain. This is not just an event of the past: today, that light continues to guide us, inviting us to seek Christ in the most humble places and to recognize his presence among us, especially in those who suffer and most in need.
In a world where the darkness of selfishness, fear, and indifference so often prevails, the Epiphany reminds us that God draws near and manifests himself in the humanity of each one of us. Jesus is not only in his cradle in Bethlehem: he walks with us, walks in our history, and calls us to be stars for others, living signs of his love and his peace.
May this feast encourage us to open our hearts to the newness of God, who reveals himself without conditions, and to joyfully share the light we have received. Like the Magi, who returned “by another way”, transformed by their encounter with the Lord, may we too become bearers of hope for our communities and for all peoples.
Happy Epiphany!
