Fraternal communion…
23 September 2024On Sunday 22 September we had the opportunity to celebrate a wonderful afternoon together with our sisters of the Villa Claret community, but this time we did not go there ourselves but they came to the General Curia.
In the Villa Claret community there are several elderly sisters, among them two who have just celebrated their 100th birthday, made this a historic event. The General Team and the other sisters of the Calandrelli community welcomed the sisters with great joy and affection. It was a very emotional moment for all of us, especially to feel the joy and courage of these sisters in joining in this beautiful moment.
We began our celebratory evening with a moment of prayer prepared with various texts from the Autobiography of Maria Antonia Paris in which she speaks of her companion and friend Florentina Sangler, whose memory we were celebrating. Afterwards we had supper where we shared, laughed and made fraternal communion come alive. We thank the Lord for this opportunity to come together as one family and all the sisters for all their efforts to make this moment possible.
