I will make you fishers of men…

1 June 2025

On May 31, the Claretian vocation day is celebrated, which is a gift to which we respond day by day (Const. 70). On this special day we had the conclusion of the Congregational Path Deep into Sea. After walking, praying, learning, and growing together, we come to the end of the journey with another meaningful moment of prayer space with God’s Word.

María Elisa Estévez López, Doctor in Theology in the University of Deusto (Biblico) enlightened us with a prayerful reading from Lk 5, 10, inviting all of us to look with new eyes like Jesus did with Peter and his disciples, with mercy, tenderness, hope and love, to accept the invitation to conversion and to have confidence because in Jesus we have the Kingdom of God here and now.

It was also a beautiful space to thank all the sisters, lay people with whom with walk together, all the speakers and resource persons who enlightened us during this time, and to the translators who helped us to understand the sessions.

At the end of the encounter, Priscilla, the Superior General thanked the previous and present

At the end of the encounter, Priscilla, the Superior General, thanked the commission of the Congregational Path and all those who have helped us in many ways to make this journey possible. She also announced the upcoming launch of the Itinerary of “Reencounter with the richness and beauty of the Charism in the Constitutions” on July 5, 2025.

With deep gratitude to God for His unconditional love, we ended the encounter.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
