“In Evangelical Poverty: A Concrete and Meaningful Way of Following Christ”

20 April 2026

On April 18, via online, we Claretian Missionary Sisters joyfully celebrated the launch of the second stage of the Itinerary, “Re-encountering the Richness and Beauty of the Charism in the Constitutions.” This meaningful moment brought together the entire Congregation in a shared commitment to deepen our identity and mission. This new stage continues to promote a renewed missionary transformation, care for vocation, universal fraternity, and care for our common home. It invites each member to walk this path in a more conscious and authentic way, in fidelity to the spirit of the Charism.

The theme of this second stage, “In Evangelical Poverty: A Concrete and Meaningful Way of Following Christ,” highlights poverty as a living testimony. It emphasizes how this way of life makes Christ’s presence visible in the world and becomes a prophetic sign that fosters transformation and the continuous renewal of the Church.

The gathering was enriched by the presence of Sr. Rosaura González Casas, of the Company of Saint Teresa of Jesus, who was the speaker of the day. In a brief but profound presentation, she offered insights into the three evangelical vows. This was followed by a moment of contemplative prayer, allowing participants to internalize the meaning of each vow in both personal and community life.

The meeting also included the presentation of the Fourth Booklet, introduced in a simple and accessible way for all the sisters, as a concrete aid for this journey.

We express our sincere gratitude to all the sisters who participated in the meeting, and to the members of the commission who prepared and carried it out. May this new stage continue to inspire and guide us in our journey of faith and mission.

We joyfully celebrate the Jubilee Year of the Venerable Servant of God María Teresita Albarracín, rediscovering each month her life, her message, and her joy.
