July 28 – Celebrating the charisms within the Claretian family, under a shower of blessings

29 July 2025

On July 28, we continued with the activities alongside the young people of Claret Way. The dynamics took place at the General House of the Claretian Fathers, under an intense “rain of blessings.” We began the day with a performance and a musical moment, followed by the vocational fair, where each branch of the Claretian Family presented its charism through its logo, the history of the congregation, and key phrases used by the founders to proclaim the Gospel.

After the fair, the young people participated in various activities such as bingo, Zumba, and personal testimonies. After lunch, they experienced a moment of spiritual reflection based on the theme of the Road to Emmaus. We closed the day with a moving solemn Mass that left our hearts filled with gratitude and hope.

We now share the testimony of one of the young participants:

The perfect preparation for the Jubilee. Dancing, laughter, meeting new people and reconnecting with friends from WYD Lisbon. Whether it rains or the sun shines, the Claretian family gathers and rejoices in Christ. The legacy Pope Francis wished to leave is alive in the youth, “making noise.”

The ability to listen to each person, to silence, and to ourselves has taken us to extraordinary places. The most valuable of all: the true meaning of hope: placing your heart in something you know will come. That is precisely what we have done throughout this entire time leading up to our arrival in Rome.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
