Mary Immaculate: Light That Guides Our Missionary Journey

7 December 2025

Dear sisters, friends, and lay people with whom we share the Charism; Claretian Family, collaborators, and benefactors:

On this solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, we contemplate Mary as the Woman clothed with the sun, crowned with stars, and sustained by the power of God. She is the great sign that guides our missionary path, the transparency of grace, and the victory of good that illuminates our dedication.

Today the desire is renewed within us to work so that the virtues of our Mother Mary may become real in our lives, so that we may follow Jesus with humility and with total availability, allowing us to respond to what the world and the Church expect from us.

May Mary teach us always to choose the good, even when it seems small or remains hidden; to bring forth life even in the midst of fragility and tensions; to walk as pilgrims of hope, sustained by the certainty that life has the last word; and to be a sign of light, like her, in a world thirsty for peace and tenderness.

May Mary Immaculate continue to protect and inspire our communities and apostolic centers, our families, the Claretian Family, and all those who at this moment are experiencing situations of pain and injustice. May the primacy of good and the light of the Gospel encourage us to sow gestures that transform reality and awaken new horizons of fraternity.

HAPPY FEAST!

The Sisters of the General Team
