Pericial Visit of Apostolic Mission to the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe

27 November 2025

From November 4 to December 29, we, Beatriz and Catherine, are carrying out the Pericial Visit of Apostolic Mission to the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe. During this time, we are visiting the different communities of the Province, with the desire to walk alongside our sisters in their daily mission.

Our journey began in the United States, in the communities of West Palm Beach and Miami, from November 4 to 16. From the moment we arrived, we felt surrounded by an atmosphere of simplicity, joy, and fraternity. We had the opportunity to visit the various places where the sisters carry out their apostolate and, as the days passed, we were truly able to “touch with our own hands” their reality, their challenges, and the beauty of their dedication.

We shared many moments with those who collaborate with our sisters: catechists, teachers, students, pupils, and lay people committed to the mission. The exchanges were rich, sincere, and filled with hope. For us, it was a joy to speak with the young people, to listen to their questions, their dreams, and their desire to contribute to the life of the Church. In every encounter, we felt welcomed with deep affection. The communion we experienced together genuinely touched us.

After this first stage, we continued our visit in Puerto Rico, from November 17 to 22. There, too, we shared the daily life of our sisters and the multiple dimensions of their mission. We had the joy of participating in visits to the sick, in catechesis for children and adults, and in youth ministry activities. These moments shared with the People of God—often simple, yet always deeply human—were for us a source of emotion and gratitude.

A very meaningful event marked this stage: the blessing of the community house. The local bishop, Rubén Antonio González Medina, cmf, presided over the Eucharist, accompanied by five Claretians. His presence, together with that of these missionaries, reinforced the sense of family and collaboration in the mission. We lived a true moment of communion and fraternity that will remain engraved in our memory.

Since November 23, we have continued our visit in Santo Domingo, where we will remain until the 28th. Here again, we continue meeting with the sisters, sharing with them their concerns, hopes, and projects. We take time to listen, to pray together, and to discern the paths that the Spirit invites us to walk in communion.

As we travel through the United States, Puerto Rico, and Santo Domingo, we have felt how alive the mission is and how much generosity our sisters place in their service to the people. This visit has been a gift for us: a time to let ourselves be touched by reality, to encourage, to give thanks, and above all, to recognize the presence of God in every gesture, every encounter, and every smile received. To be continued…

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
