Re-encountering the richness and beauty of the Charism in the Constitutions
29 September 2025On September 27, we held the second encounter of the Itinerary of the Constitutions, with the aim of fostering Missionary Transformation in Christ, following the inspirations of the Charism grounded in the Constitutions.
Francisco José Ruiz Pérez, SJ, known to many of us as Paco Pepe, enriched us with a deeply inspiring reflection on change and transformation. His words truly illuminated our hearts and minds, helping us understand that true transformation begins on a personal level and extends to the community, society, and the Church. He emphasized the importance of avoiding three key difficulties: individualism, lack of clarity in the mediations and the over-simplification of mission. He challenged us not only to reflect on our personal journey of faith, but also on how we live out our mission within our communities and in the Church as a whole.
During the encounter, First Booklet dedicated to the Fundamental Constitution was presented to the sisters.
At the end, Priscilla Latela, our Superior General, invited us to renew our desire for encounter and our openness to being sent forth, using the image of the well. She also encouraged us to be grateful for the gift we have received and to walk together in this process, making transformation visible.
