Villa Claret – Ciampino: a mission that transforms and continues to give life

3 March 2026

In the final stage of the canonical visit to Europe, there was a moment of gratitude in sharing with the missionary community, articulated in two complementary presences: Villa Claret and Ciampino.

At Villa Claret, a place of welcome, accompaniment, and animation, live sisters who have given their lives to the mission in service of the Church and the Congregation. Today they continue their dedication in a new, fruitful, and quiet way: sustaining the mission through prayer, the wisdom of lives given, and a close pastoral presence. Their collaboration with Caritas of the parish on Via Casaletto, known as “La Parrocchietta”; their accompaniment of the residents of the Villa Claret retirement home; and the watercolor activity for adults in Ciampino all express a mission that does not stop, but rather transforms and renews itself with tenderness and creativity.

In Ciampino, the sisters animate the “Maria Immacolata” Institute, a school recognized for its educational impact and for the distinctive style that sets it apart. Attention to the human dimension fosters close and positive relationships with families and students. Many children arrive without knowing Jesus, and for them the school becomes a privileged place of encounter and first proclamation. The human and spiritual accompaniment also offered to the teaching staff is of great value, thus strengthening the shared identity and mission. The welcoming and inclusive style, attentive to families and sensitive to children with greater difficulties, represents an educational alternative that is deeply appreciated in the local context.

We conclude this stage of the visit with renewed hope. Wherever the mission is lived through faithful dedication, fraternal communion, and passion for proclamation, the Spirit continues to open new paths. Villa Claret and Ciampino are signs of a mission that, at every stage of life, continues to generate life, and life in abundance.

The canonical visit continues in Poland with the presence of Amilbia, Vicar and Prefect of Formation.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
