We continue to take steps OF HOPE In the CAUSES OF BEATIFICATIONS AND CANONIZATION

24 May 2025

We continue to work on designing the next steps to be taken in this process, sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas and dialoguing new directions for 2026. On the 21st we met via zoom with the Spirituality Team, a first space for knowledge, interconnection and presentation of possible activities and initiative to share. We want to walk together, religious and laity, in active listening and make synodality a style of work for this process.

On May 22, we began to concretize the next activity for June 28, the date of birth of Maria Antonia Paris, and we concluded our first face-to-face meeting with a dynamic of sharing that was followed by a listening forum with the sisters of the General Government informing them about the urgencies that had to be made in the dicastery, and all the other matters related to the essential documents of our sisters in the process of beatification and canonization.

On that same day, we had the opportunity to participate in the meeting that the sisters of the General Team had with Guillermo Fernández-Toledo, H.E.D, from the United States, layman, for years a companion of the Claretian Missionary Sisters of the United States, theologian, doctor of the History of the Church who came to visit us with his friend. He shared his links with the Claretian missionary Sisters and his strong connections to the personality of our Mother Foundress, Antonia Paris.

We thank Guillermo for his great interest in deepening the knowledge of our Congregational history and for being with us sharing his experiences.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
