Special attention must be paid to the most vulnerable members of our communities; in fact, he says that when we look at our contemporary society, we find numerous contradictions.
While a part of humanity lives in opulence, another part sees its own dignity repudiated, scorned or tram[1]pled upon and its fundamental rights ignored or violated.
May our thoughts be with all those who are subjected to acts of intolerance, discrimination, and violence because of their racial, ethnic, national, or religious affiliation, not to mention those who are victims of tragedy of armed conflict: while unscrupulous merchants of death enrich themselves at the cost of the blood of their brothers and sisters.
