Celebrating 175 Years of Grateful Memories…

12 July 2024

From July 7 to 15 the Congress of Spirituality of the Claretian Missionaries is being held in Vic on the occasion of the 175th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Congregation.  This gathering brings together some eighty Claretian Missionaries from all over the world, representatives of the Claretian Family, and other guests.

Also many of the members of the Claretian Family are participating online to be witnesses,  to experience this great event and to give thanks to Lord for their missionary presence in the world.

The Congress program is developed in different topics such as history of Claretian spirituality, its current challenges emerged from the Congregational survey, and new perspectives. Mornings are dedicated to conferences and central themes, while afternoons are focused on practical workshops on various aspects of Claretian Spirituality.

Priscilla Latela, the Superior General and Jolanta Kafka, the Coordinator of the General Team of Spirituality are participating in it during these days.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
