Encounter of the General Team with the Provincial Government of Europe
13 October 2024The General Team is currently in Reus. Today, 13th October, we had our second meeting with the Provincial Government of Europe to continue the dialogue about the house in Reus.
We began the day with a prayer of praise in the garden, becoming aware of the day that God is giving us… then we set out for the museum, a sacred place for us, where we found objects…, belongings of the Mother Foundress… here we spent a few moments contemplating the testimony of Mother Concepción de San Jaime, the nurse of the Mother Foundress about her last words.
Then we began the work, Priscilla and Jolanta introduced us to personal reflection, and by means of the methodology feel-imagine-act-share, we worked in small groups answering the question: What should we do so that the desired objective for the house of Reus may be realised: ‘A house of all, where the Claretian charism is at the service of all those who walk together and of the Congregation, to renew ourselves and contribute to the renewal of the Church’? We developed in groups by areas the draft of the strategy, with concrete activities in the short and long term, which we put in common and reached a consensus.
In the afternoon, we continued the dialogue and ended the meeting with a prayer of thanksgiving and intercession in the crypt, with M. Antonía.
It has been a space to strengthen Congregational bonds and communion of prayer with sisters and all those who walk together.
