Claretian Sisters for today’s world

On December 2 and 3, we celebrated the XXIV encounter of Major Superiors and their councils with the General Team, in the zoom platform.

This encounter had the objective of taking a further step in the process of putting into practice the strategies that the XVIII General Chapter has entrusted to us on the theme of Formation.

We recalled the fruit of the dialogue that took place within the Chapter, we returned to the 2016 document on the change of paradigm in the area of formation, which the commission for study and reflection presented to the Congregation: ‘to move from an instrumental way of understanding formation (preparing for) to a theological-existential approach; a way of living the vocation in a transformative process, enhancing competencies in “Doing with others”; Discernment; Solidarity in JPIC; The Word as the center of our evangelising mission’.

We also let ourselves be enlightened by the Synodal Document which strongly invites us to form missionary disciples in an integral, continuous and shared way. We listened to the experience of transformation of the formative processes that the Consolata Missionary Sisters have carried out.

In conversation in the Spirit, we looked at how to put into practice the ways of the renewal of Formation.

We were grateful and committed to continue walking together in this process.
