Walking towards Easter
26 February 2020This time of lent gives us once again the opportunity to focus our lives on the great Mystery of the death and resurrection of Jesus, with an always new and creative look.
Stopping at this gesture of love, carried to its ultimate consequences, leads us to feel compassion for the other, discovering the suffering face of Jesus presents “in the many innocent victims of wars, in attacks on life, from that of the unborn to that of the elderly, and various forms of violence. They are likewise present in environmental disasters, the unequal distribution of the earth’s goods, human trafficking in all its forms, and the unbridled thirst for profit, which is a form of idolatry”. (cf. Message of Pope Francis for Lent 2020)
With free and generous love let us continue to take steps on the path of conversion; a path that is always different, because in faith and love there is never a risk of repetition.
