Walking Together Commission

24 August 2021

And finally, the day of the face-to-face meeting arrived!

After a long year of online preparation, the WALKING TOGETHER COMMISSION met in Rome from 23 August to work on the last stage of the drafting of the formative itinerary, trying to take new steps towards the realisation of a dream: to be a family that shares the charism from different vocations.

Some working conversations were initiated with the members of the Commission who arrived previously, Manuel, Enrique, Carol, Priscilla and Ana Maria, while today, 23 August, the team facilitator Maria Luisa Berzosa (Daughters of Jesus) joined the team.

For this work, we are counting on the contribution of the different groups of the major entities that contributed with their reflection and elaboration of one of the eight modules of the Itinerary.

Walking Together is not just a phrase or a wish, but an essential aspect of being Church communion, of the way of living and expressing our condition as Christians called to share the charism of Claret and París from different expressions: the lay vocation and the vocation to religious life.

To Mary, we entrust this mission, and we ask her to guide our steps along the paths of fraternity, to teach us to live unity in diversity, so that we may continue to build being one family and one heart.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
