A journey of love and freedom

27 March 2025

During the week of March 16-21, the junior sisters who are in Reus deepened their knowledge of the vows: poverty, obedience and chastity.

It has been an intense time of reading, reflecting and sharing from experience, understanding their meaning and living them in the light of the Claretian charism. With different dynamics, moments of enlightenment, sharing in pairs, in linguistic groups and organised expositions alternated.

A culminating space was the celebration in the crypt of the Mother Foundress with the theme: we carry this treasure in vessels of clay. We gave thanks to God for our Claretian consecrated life and we captured our vocation in a symbol moulded in clay.

The vows of poverty, obedience and chastity are blessings, treasures that shape a life centred on Christ, being a sign of the Kingdom and a witness of love, freedom and communion. They are a concrete path of transfiguration for a life lived in full freedom, in filial relationship with the Father and in attentive listening to reality.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
