Anniversary of the Canonization of Saint Anthony Mary Claret and Claretian Family Day

8 May 2026

On May 7, the Claretian Family joyfully celebrated another anniversary of the canonization of Saint Anthony Mary Claret. It is a meaningful date that unites us as a family in celebration and prayer, giving thanks to God for the charism with which he has enriched the Church and of which we are heirs, called to proclaim the Gospel with joy.

As a family, it was agreed to establish May 7 as Claretian Family Day. This celebration also highlights the richness of communion among the various branches that make up the family, united by one common dream: to make God’s love known through the word and through the witness of life.

This celebration is much more than a historical remembrance. It is a call to renew our commitment to be “witnesses and messengers of hope and of the joy of the Gospel” in today’s world. In a time marked by uncertainty, conflict, and indifference, the spirit of Father Claret urges us to live and serve in the Church with fervor and missionary zeal.

May the missionary fire of Father Claret continue to inspire us to contribute to the transformation of the world through faith, justice, and love.

We joyfully celebrate the Jubilee Year of the Venerable Servant of God María Teresita Albarracín, rediscovering each month her life, her message, and her joy.
