Building the Intercultural Novitiate Community

14 July 2026

From 2 to 8 July, the formation community of the Intercultural Novitiate in Granada, Spain, experienced the second stage of a formation process aimed at continuing to grow in self-knowledge and community integration. The programme was accompanied by Priscilla Latela, Superior General, and Dulce María Carvajal.

From 2 to 4 July, Dulce María facilitated a workshop on personal growth and self-awareness. Through group activities, reflection, and therapeutic accompaniment, we were helped to heal wounds, become aware of our inner movements, recognize our strengths, and identify the areas in which we still need to grow. We also reflected more deeply on personal responsibility, self-care, and openness to ongoing formation.

From 5 to 8 July, we continued the process with Priscilla, experiencing a special time of discernment, reflection, prayer, group activities, and opportunities for personal dialogue.

The spiritual conversations and moments of sharing in a prayerful atmosphere enabled us to appreciate each person’s gifts and to continue listening to the personal and communal invitations of the Spirit for this new mission.

Some of the words we heard, both during the various activities of those days and in the Word of God, became true mantras that illuminated our journey of growth, discernment, and affirmation.

The positive atmosphere, teamwork, and openness to one another’s suggestions strengthened participation, mutual care, and shared responsibility. All of this is helping us grow in understanding, mutual support, and appreciation of community life.

Now is the time to embrace and put into practice all that we have received, for the good of the novices and of the entire Congregation.

Thank you for accompanying us with your prayers!

We joyfully celebrate the Jubilee Year of the Venerable Servant of God María Teresita Albarracín, rediscovering each month her life, her message, and her joy.
