Canonical and Financial Visitation to the Community of Guayaramerín, in the Heart of the Amazon
10 June 2026From May 27 to June 1, Priscilla and Lidia carried out the canonical and general financial visitation to the community of Guayaramerín, located in Bolivia on the border with Brazil.
This is a missionary community in the heart of the Amazon, with a broad, diverse, and fruitful apostolic presence. Although the community is currently made up of only two sisters, it is deeply moving to witness their generous dedication, their closeness to the people, and the passion with which they share the mission.
During these days, there was an opportunity to visit three of the six schools we coordinate, meet members of the parish, catechists, the Missionary Childhood and Confirmation groups, and visit one of the local communities. There was also a meeting with the Claretian missionaries, and participation in several celebrations.
Each of these encounters provided a valuable opportunity to see how our missionary presence and work in this region are contributing to the human, Christian, and community development of the people, sowing Gospel values that strengthen faith, hope, and commitment to life.
