Designing a process

On October 27th with the concluding celebration of the Synod, the sisters of the Commission of the Constitutions and Directory (Priscilla, Ana Maria, Soledad, Hilde, Catherine, Thushari) met at the General Curia, Rome, with the aim of preparing a draft of the Process of reflection, deepening and formation on the Constitutions and Directory, with openness to revision, to be carried out in the whole Congregation.

We began the meeting with words of welcome and motivation from the Superior General, Priscilla. She stressed the importance of walking as a Synodal Congregation that incarnates the Gospel by being new in practice and expressed her desire that in these days of work we may feel the breath of the Spirit guiding us, enlightening us, making us sensitive to his presence and strengthening us in listening attentively to his plan for the Congregation.

Then we had a prayer animated by Priscilla and Amilbia with a reflection on the Constitutions, its history from 1848 to the present moment and a conversation in the Spirit with the question “Which text of the Constitutions especially marks my Claretian path?”

We entrust ourselves into the loving hands of the Lord through the intercession of Mary, Mother of Care and ask all to accompany us in prayer.
