Educating with passion, proclaiming the Gospel: a shared mission in Asturias

From January 20 to 22, Priscilla Latella, Superior General, and Amilbia Penagos, Prefect of Formation, continue the canonical visit to the Province of Europe, accompanied on this journey by Jolanta K., Provincial Superior. They visited the schools “La Inmaculada” in Oviedo and “María Inmaculada” in Pola de Laviana.

The meetings with the educational communities were a powerful experience of fraternity, gratitude, and hope, as well as a testimony to the outstanding commitment and enthusiasm of the lay collaborators in safeguarding and living the charism of Paris and Claret.

Dialogue with teachers, leadership teams, and students reaffirmed the commitment to an integral, intercultural, and inclusive education oriented toward social transformation.

The moments of prayer, reflection, and evaluation made it possible to recognize “strengths and challenges” as opportunities to strengthen the evangelizing mission.

As a sign of walking together, a Japanese camellia was presented, a symbol of care for life, fraternity, and our common home.

The visit continues in Zaragoza, in a climate of communion and congregational unity.
