Entering with Jesus into the journey of Holy Week

28 March 2026

Palm Sunday opens the path of Holy Week. Jesus enters Jerusalem amid waving branches and cries of joy: “Hosanna!”. He is received as a king, but not like the kings of this world: He does not come with force or power, but with humility. He does not conquer; He gives Himself.

It is a moment of light and hope, and at the same time, the mystery of the cross is already present. The same crowd that cheers Him today will, in a few days, cry out against Him. This reality challenges us: which side are we on? Do we follow only in easy moments, or do we choose to remain with Him?

Following Jesus today means walking with Him in our daily lives: in the community, in the family, in service to others. Every act of kindness, every decision to accompany those who suffer, is a way of being light and hope in our time.

We do not walk this path alone. We live it together with those who walk with us in faith, sharing stories, struggles, and hopes. Thus, as we enter this Holy Week, we ask for the grace to be living signs of Jesus’ love, wherever we are called to live and serve.
