EXTRAORDINARY MISSIONARY MONTH

30 September 2019

We begin the month of October and the Pope invites us to celebrate an extraordinary missionary month:  “I have asked that the whole Church revive her missionary awareness and commitment as we commemorate the centenary of the Apostolic Letter Maximum Illud of Pope Benedict XV (30 November 1919)” (Pope Francisco). Certainly, an opportunity of conversion to Jesus, of pastoral renewal and missionary animation is offered to the whole people of God and in a special way to us Claretian Missionary Sisters.  Thus, it is a special invitation to renew our baptismal and charismatic responsibility, in which the Lord has consecrated us and has granted us the grace to follow Christ, in imitation of the Apostles in the mission of the Church of announcing until death  the Gospel in the whole world.  Let us live and feel with the local Churches all the activities that the Spirit’s creativity would inspire us for.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
