‘Following in the footsteps of Christ, our only good’

On 12 April, at the end of the intense process of charismatic formation, and having lived the spiritual exercises, all the sisters of the General Team and the community of Reus gathered in the crypt of M. Antonia Paris to celebrate the missionary sending out of the 16 junior sisters.  A culminating moment, illuminated by the text of Mark 6:7-13, the call and the sending out of the twelve.

Priscilla, Superior General and Amilbia, General Prefect of Formation, animated this space of prayer and conversation in the Spirit around the gift of the call and the instructions of Jesus in the missionary sending out. With the symbol of anointing, each sister participating in the formation process was blessed and sent to the apostolic experience in communities of Europe, to be a bearer of good news, bringing hope and love to the communities and apostolic centres where they are eagerly awaited.

This time of prayer was followed by supper and a cultural evening, during which the juniors presented the mission of each Entity to which they belong, along with cultural dances.

Everything was lived with a background of immense gratitude to God for every moment lived.
