Go out to the crossroads…

20 October 2024

Today we celebrate World Mission Day, Domund, with the motto ‘Go out to the crossroads and invite everyone you meet’ (cf. Mt 22:9) chosen by Pope Francis, reflecting the inclusive and urgent call to bring God’s love to all.

Despite the fact that we live in a reality where there are so many divisions and conflicts, God is always on the move. He continues to invite us to go out, to get involved in the mission, to meet each other, to recognise each other as brothers and sisters and to rejoice in diversity. A Church, a community that is not missionary loses its meaning.

In this context, the Claretian Sisters and those of us who walk together began the Triduum to St. Anthony Mary Claret on October 21st. Let us rediscover the missionary impulse and zeal of the first Christians, who felt ‘the urgency of announcing the Gospel’.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
