Happy Feast of the Inmaculate Conception!

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of Mary in the mystery of the Immaculate Conception who, from our being apostles, invites us to care for the good, for justice and for peace.  

The mystery of Mary Immaculate is a source of inspiration to rethink ourselves as caretakers of God’s work, from the encounter with Christ, in the horizon of universal fraternity and in the experience of sobriety and simplicity. 

Every time we look at Mary in the mystery of the Immaculate Conception, we believe anew in the revolutionary power of caring for humanity.

Mary, the Woman “clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars on her head” (Rev 12:1), points out the path of hope for humanity. We ask her to teach us to look at this world with eyes of wisdom, eyes that do not withdraw their gaze from the cry of humanity, but are committed to a greater good, to justice, and peace.
