II Provincial Chapter of East Asia

On 26 July the II Chapter of the East Asia Province began.

On the first day, prior to the opening, we had some orientations and entered into a retreat atmosphere with the topic on the fidelity of God in our life and the conversion for the mission, led by Jolanta Kafka, Superior General and President of the Chapter. This was followed by a time of silence, personal reflection and sharing of experience.

On the 27th, at the opening ceremony, we entered in procession representing the different countries that make up the Province. The postulants make a dance prayer, then we invoked the Holy Spirit and asked Mary’s intercession to guide our steps.

Jolanta gave us words of welcome and we continued with the election of chapter’s secretary, moderators and the report and editorial commission.

Selfia Besi and Asunta Hori, provincial secretary and financial officier, presented the “Memoria” of the government.

Finally, we celebrated the Eucharist, presided by Fr. Alex cmf, and we had a time of fraternal agape.
