JPIC Mission: Pilgrims of Hope for Systemic Transformation for the Common Good of All Creation

This is the theme of the Training Workshop on Justice, Peace, and the Integrity of Creation that will be held in Rome from February 10 to 14, promoted by USG-UISG

The workshop, offered by the JPIC Commission of USG-UISG, is designed to train JPIC Promoters and those involved in ministries related to this theme. It is a space for reflection, discussion, and sharing, allowing us to grasp essential theoretical concepts, skills, and tools that will help us discern appropriate responses to the needs of today’s world. By learning from the experiences, practices, and knowledge of others, we improve our abilities to better serve and care for both people and the planet.

This year, the workshop is offered both online and in person. In Rome, two sisters will participate: Anastasia and Beatriz.

This five-day journey will help us delve into the following aspects:

• The biblical and spiritual foundations of JPIC apostolates and related ministries,
• The Church’s social teaching and systemic transformation,
• Methodology and social transformation,
• The impact and the theme of the Jubilee,
• The organization of JPIC apostolate offices or related ministries,
• Action plans to apply the knowledge gained.

Another step toward coming together as a Church on this journey to become pilgrims of hope.
