July 31 – Dialogues with the City: Pilgrimage and Adoration in the Basilicas of Rome

1 August 2025

On July 31, the young people continued their cultural journey by visiting some of the most significant sites in Rome. During the morning, they went on a pilgrimage that took them to the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls and the Basilica of St. John Lateran. In both, they had the opportunity to pass through the Holy Doors—a gesture experienced with deep emotion and contemplation.

In the evening, all the groups gathered in various basilicas across Rome for a time of meditation and adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. From 7:45 to 8:15 p.m., the Claret Way group lived this moment in the Basilica of Chiesa Nuova, in an atmosphere of silence, prayer, and song. During the adoration, some young people also approached the sacrament of reconciliation.

Praise be to God for this seed that is growing within His Church!

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
