Keep moving forward…

With enthusiasm, we continue the work of the Constitutions and Directory Commission that began a few days ago. On the morning of the 28th, we had an online session with Fr Francisco Ruiz, SJ. He enlightened us on how to prepare ourselves for this task, emphasising the grace of God, the strength of the Charism and its renewing impulse. He emphasized that we are in an important moment of the Spirit in our Congregational history since the received Charism grows, develops continuously, is dynamic and it is our mission to interpret it and to update it in the time, so that the spiritual experience of the Founders is incarnated in the history.

He invited us to be creative and at the same time faithful to the Charism in this process of deepening, reflection, formation, with openness to the revision of the Constitutions.

The work continued with the time for the reading of various materials, moments of personal and community prayer, reflections and sharing.

Arturo Sosa, Superior General of the Society of Jesus, shared with us his experience of the Constitutions and the motivation for the renewal of the vow of poverty in his Institute.

On the morning of the 29th we had an online meeting with Sara Ferreras. She enlightened us with various elements on a possible methodology for the process to be developed.

We thank God for allowing us to experience his presence and guidance, those who enrich us with their enlightenment and the community that accompanies us permanently.  We count on everyone’s prayers.
