Maps of Hope

14 May 2026

As part of the canonical visit she is carrying out to the communities in Colombia, Priscilla was invited to participate in the meeting of Delegates and Coordinators of Education of the Religious Communities of Colombia on May 13.

Under the motto “Maps of Hope,” this gathering became a space for reunion, listening, and shared vision, where the educational mission of the Catholic school stood at the center of the dialogue. In a context marked by profound cultural, social, and technological changes, the meeting aimed to strengthen communion among the different religious congregations committed to education and to renew together the passion for educating according to the Gospel.

Priscilla, President of the Education Commission of the Union of Major Superiors, accompanied this space of reflection and fraternal dialogue, contributing her experience and vision regarding the challenges and future horizons of Catholic education today. Also participating in the meeting were Nidiagnis, Prefect of Apostolate for the Latin American Province, and Tania, a member of the leadership team of the Immaculado Corazón de María School in Colombia.

“Maps of Hope” was an invitation to look toward the future together, to discover new paths, and to reaffirm the commitment of religious communities to an education that forms people capable of building fraternity, caring for life, and transforming society through the values of the Gospel.

We joyfully celebrate the Jubilee Year of the Venerable Servant of God María Teresita Albarracín, rediscovering each month her life, her message, and her joy.
