Panama WYD 2019
25 January 2019The Pope arrived on the 23rd of January at 16.15 at Panama. To receive Him at Guerino there were invited representatives of Catholic schools and parishes. Claret School was there with 11 students, a teacher and Anabel Claretian Missionary sister as directress of the school and superior of the community. When Francisco got off the plane, all the young people were greatly moved, many cried. It was the first time to see the Pope very close. After 32 years, a Pope returns to Panama.
On January 24, Francisco’s first meeting with all the young people was held; a celebration of the Word in which He highlighted the commitment to be bridges to love, as Jesus loved, to be inclusive. The emotion is great and the pilgrimage of these days is tireless; the youth gathered in Claretian Family, about700 people we all encourage each other to continue making the path easy. Today, 25th, the day of the conversion of Saint Paul, we are invited to experience forgiveness and spiritual accompaniment. We will conclude the day with the Via Crucis with Pope Francis.
We also continue with the ‘vocational expo’ and sharing in Claretian Family being present and collaborating the representatives of the eight branches of our charismatic family. #misioneras Claretianas #familia claretiana
