Remembering Teresita Albarracin

11 March 2018

Several years ago the Congregation dedicated this day, in a special way, to the sisters in temporary vows. Our wish is that all the Claretian young sisters, who are in the different stages of formation: aspirants, postulants, novices, juniors will be attracted, accompanied, animated by the life testimony of Teresita.

Going through Teresita’s short life story, 19 years and 2 years of religious life, we find expressions of her great intimacy with God, the strenth of her faith, the conviction of her consecration, and her capacity for apostolic service as a way of holiness.

She wrote in her notes… something very suitable for the time of Lent we are living:

“Get away from the hustle and bustle of the world as much as you can and go whenever possible before Jesus; there, alone with Him, do not think about the order that you are going to enter or the thousand trifles that are so often presented and that they do nothing but distract the spirit. Centered in God, meditate first of all if these so rare impressions that you experience are manifestations of true vocation; take care, do not be fooled by your excessive vehemence and for that, do not ‘do anything on rush’.”

SMILE ALWAYS!

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
