Solidarity with Guatemala

On June 7, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the Church of “Santa Maria della Luce” in Trastevere, some of the sisters of the community of the general curia: Priscilla, Amilbia, Friska, Ivette, and Skolastika, have participated in the Holy Eucharist in solidarity with the people of Guatemala. It was a beautiful experience to be in unity with the people of the affected areas. At the end of the celebration, all those who were there lighted the candles  and they prayed with a adapted version of Psalm 85: Bless the victims of the volcano, heal the wounded, give shelter to those who were left homeless, carry with you the souls of those who lost their lives; and instil in your children a caring heart and attentive to the needs of those who live this tragedy  to show the sign of our nearness to them. We keep in praying for Guatemala.
