Strengthening family ties

3 March 2025

On March 27, the intercultural community of Reus had the joy of welcoming four Claretian Missionaries: Juan Carlos Martos, Josep Rovira, Rohan Peiris who animate the CESC in Vic and Helin John from the community of Sallent, to visit the tomb and the Museum of Mother Antonia Paris.

It was a special grace to be able to remember the life and mission of Mother Paris, to share her charismatic inspiration and her journey with Claret. We prayed together at the foot of the tomb and celebrated the Eucharist in which Juan Carlos invited us to reread it as a formative process, as the junior sisters are doing at this moment in Reus in the light of the three aspects of the life of Paris: the Initial Vision, the Vow of Tarragona and the Return to Spain.

This shared space in the Claretian family concluded with the sharing of the same table. It was an opportunity to get to know each other better, to strengthen family ties, to feel that we are sons and daughters of the same father and that we are motivated by the same missionary zeal.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
