The Day Of The Poor 2018
18 November 2018Novemember 18: We are invited to experience the World Day of the Poor: to open our communities, offer fraternal warmth, the joy of a festive and solidary meal or other forms of special welcome that allow us to discover the value of being together. A concrete action, an opportunity for a new evangelization: “the poor are the first capable of recognizing the presence of God and bearing witness to His proximity in their lives” (Message of Pope Francis, for the II World Day of the Poor).
Mary, the first among the poor of Yahweh, teaches us to live with a humble and indigent spirit and to have a sensitive and attentive heart, which always privileges the poorest in their need.
