The fourth day of the encounter…

The 25th has been a day full of activities focused on the presence of the Risen One. The sisters of South Asia animated the liturgy. We have delved into the Indicators for the Strategic Plan by the facilitators, Professors J. M. Lozano and C. Lozada, Jesuit laypeople.  This presentation illuminated basic knowledge about management indicators in the context of apostolic planning, focused on the Congregational Strategic Plan.

The importance of identifying what works and what does not was addressed, to make the three fundamental calls (vocation, universal fraternity and the common home) more real through 14 strategic actions identified in the plan. These concepts were applied to one of the strategic actions, Youth and Vocation Ministry, through collective work to identify indicators to evaluate progress in this area.

Questions were raised related to the assessment of progress in line with the strategy, consistency with objectives, measurement and understanding of indicators, feasibility of obtaining the necessary resources and expected final impact.

In the afternoon, group presentations were held with evaluative suggestions for the Sustainability Plan, followed by an open dialogue where among all, with the facilitation of our Superior General Priscilla, the timing of the process in different stages was agreed: raising awareness, analysis of reality, compilation and analysis of results, dissemination of the same,  discernment of apostolic presences and preparation and implementation of the sustainability plan.

The day concluded with the prayer of vespers, with the feeling that the power of the Holy Spirit and the legacy of our founders are present on each day of this meeting.
