The Joy of Transmitting and Sharing a Charism
26 November 2024We continue taking steps in the Congregational Path. On November 23, more than 250 people, both religious and lay, gathered on the Zoom platform with the aim of continuing to listen to and to gather echoes of “walking together, sharing the same charism”, in the light of the enlightenment of Brother Antonio Botana on the theme: THE JOY OF TRANSMITTING AND SHARING A CHARISM.
Six lay people, 2 from Europe, 2 from Asia, and 2 from the America, shared their testimonies of living the charism. It was a time to recognize, listen, and give thanks for the journey we are making together and the joy of growing in responsibility, trust, and fraternity.
The initial prayer space was prepared by lay people and religious from the Aondona community, and the examination of the meeting was guided by the executive secretary of Korima.
“Walking together” and doing so “in the light of the Spirit”, is the missionary style we wish to adopt when we meet people, in community life, in the creation and accompaniment of groups, in the development of formative itineraries, in the preparation of lay formators, in the creation of new structures for animation that allow for authentic co-responsibility between the laity and consecrated persons.
In this way, we foster communion, participation, and co-responsibility in the mission, as proposed by Pope Francis, in the style of Jesus as lived by París and Claret.
A special thanks to each of the participants in this journey.
