Third meeting “Towards the Common Home”

17 March 2021

On March 13, on the zoom platform, took place the third and last meeting on the itinerary of awareness-raising, education/training and tools that favour the commitment to live JPIC from Laudato Si’ and Fratelli Tutti.

The meeting was of an experiential narrative type: through shared and reflected “good practices”, to contribute to and bring about change at all levels.

The idea was to create an open space to present community projects and projects of the various pastoral areas that are carrying out one or more of the 7 commitments proposed by Pope Francis in this special anniversary year of Laudato Si’.

After a prayer space animated by young people from Sri Lanka and Nigeria, the experiences were presented: “Betania Project” (Seville, Spain), Mangunan Experimental School (Yogyakarta, Indonesia), Colegio Inmaculado Corazón de María (Bogota, Colombia). A great opportunity to raise awareness through commitments and daily actions lived with perseverance, passion and by infecting others.

The meeting was attended by sisters and lay people with whom we walk, with the aim of continuing to motivate a change of lifestyle and to contribute to the care of the Common Home.

We thank the prefects of apostolate of the Major Entities for their collaboration in the preparation of the meeting.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
